A starseed is a term for a particular type of past life experience. Not everyone that incarnates on earth is from the earth originally. While 90% of the population has always been here, another 10% have incarnated on other worlds first. Some starseeds have come from just one other world, and when this happens they tend to identify with those “first worlds” very strongly. Others have travelled through many lifetimes on many different worlds.
In each case, starseeds are often marked by this passage, even if they have no conscious memories of those past lives. There will often be just something different about a starseed. Starseeds will often feel like they don’t belong or fit in, like they are slightly out of step with the rest of humanity. They will even look a little different, though this difference will be subtle and impossible to put a finger on. A starseed is literally an alien in a human skin, though thankfully it’s nothing like those old 50s movies where bodies got stolen and havoc was wreaked! It simply means they’ve retained some of the “culture” of their previous lives.
A Starseed Example
A person who is originally from Alpha Centauri will, for example, be very distressed by the darkness on earth, as Alpha Centaurians are very close to the universal light as a rule. They will spend a great deal of their time bewildered by human behavior, specifically the human need to control and dominate others. They are extremely compassionate as a rule, but they can seem unemotional to other people. That’s because you’ll never find a work ethic like an Alpha Centaurian’s. Their nature is to become providers for those they love. This results in a very pragmatic person who can even be a bit of a workaholic, though not maliciously so and not in the pursuit of personal power.
Centaurians also typically need a lot of space and “me time.” They can be very reliable lovers without being particularly romantic: they often need to be trained to know what signs and signals you need to feel loved if you are not one of these Starseeds yourself. If they know you feel loved when they give you a call at lunch they will typically do so quite dutifully because they know this meets a need—but don’t expect them to do it spontaneously. Centaurians care little for social jockeying and can sometimes come across as aloof or lost in their own thoughts, and their sense of humor tends towards noticing quiet irony and inconsistencies. People will have a hard time “getting them,” or getting why they are laughing at things that just aren’t funny to anyone else!
Why Are Starseeds Here?
Some starseeds are here for the same reasons everyone else is—to attain spiritual growth and strength through the challenges of physical existence. Their spiritual path simply mandated exposure to other worlds. Others come to help humans reach higher levels of consciousness by serving as an example to others, opening humans up to new perceptions and points of view. Some starseeds are here doing a little bit of both!
Psychics and Starseeds
Many starseeds demonstrate psychic gifts. Psychics can sometimes also identify starseeds. They can discuss the past planet or planets of origin, the traits of people from each planet, and what the typical mission of these people might be. This can be very helpful to starseeds who might have spent their entire life feeling lonely and even freakish because they are so out of step with other people. Reclaiming their starseed heritage gives starseeds a sense of greater purpose and belonging, one that can help them cope with their current incarnation.
